Roswell Offers Toy Safe-Play Areas At 4 Parks
Specially barricaded areas in parking lots at four parks will be available from Dec. 25 through Jan. 6, 2019.

ROSWELL, GA — If you're little one will unwrap a new bike, scooter or skates for Christmas and need a safe place to try out this new present, the city of Roswell has a few designated places where your child can enjoy this new toy.
The Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department will once again set up Holiday Toy Safe-Play Areas at four city parks.
Specially barricaded areas in parking lots will be available from Dec. 25 through Jan. 6, 2019, in these parks:

- Roswell Area Park, 10495 Woodstock Road; parking lot by the football/multi-use fields
- East Roswell Park, 9000 Fouts Road; parking lot by the sprayground
- Groveway Community Park, 160 Dobbs Drive; parking lot by the playground
- Hembree Park, 850 Hembree Road; parking lot by the playground
Families can bring bikes, scooters, skateboards, remote-control vehicles, and other toys that require safe, open spaces. Please note these areas will not be staffed by the city; adult supervision is highly recommended.
