ROSWELL, GA — Roswell Police need the public’s help in identifying a man involved in a shooting near the intersection of Old Roswell and Holcomb Bridge Roads.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m. on June 4, Roswell Police were alerted to gunshots near the intersection of Old Roswell Road and Holcomb Bridge Road. Officers found a van stopped in the southbound lanes of Old Roswell Road that had apparent gunfire damage. The driver, who was the only occupant, was not hit, police said.

An initial investigation shows that a gray sedan driven by a Black male, with dreadlocks or twists, pulled along the right side of the victim’s vehicle, and fired at least one round from a handgun into the vehicle, the police said. The man then drove westbound on Holcomb Bridge Road. There was no exchange of words or aggressive driving leading up to the shooting.
