Rubber Duck Race Fundraiser Saturday For Keep Roswell Beautiful
The duck race is a fundraiser for Keep Roswell Beautiful which works toward keeping Roswell's waterways, including Big Creek, clean.

ROSWELL, GA — Anyone walking along Big Creek on Oxbo Road on Saturday, Oct. 19, might be surprised to see a large flock of pink, yellow, and blue ducks racing along the water. The ducks are part of Keep Roswell Beautiful's annual fundraising event, the Great Duck Race.
The ducks will "paddle" frantically down a short stretch of the creek, and the first to cross the finish line will earn its sponsor $250. Second place earns $100.
Ducks can be rented online. Sponsorship prices are $5 for one duck, $12 for three ducks, and $30 for 10 ducks. Sponsors do not have to be present to win; however, winners will have only 48 hours to claim their prize after notification.
