Sara J. Marek, 57, Founder and Owner of Studio Prime Pilates

Sara J. Marek, of Roswell passed away suddenly on Jan. 16, 2015. She was born in Winnipeg, Canada on Sept. 14, 1957. She was married to Alfred Marek for 26 years.

Sara earned her bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Georgia State University, but found her passion in art and interior design.

One of her proudest accomplishments was as founder and owner of Studio Prime Pilates, where she dedicated many years to serving her clients. Although she left us much too soon, she lived life to the fullest with kindness and love toward friends and strangers alike. She found her purpose in life as a wife and a mother, devoting herself to her family.

She is survived by her husband Alfred; son Michael Elliott Jessup (Erin); son Gerald Marek (Christine); granddaughter Abby Marek; sisters Loretta Kives and Mary Carrington; brother Lorne Neyedly; and many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at Northside Chapel in Roswell. In lieu of lowers, please make donations to The ASPCA at www.aspca.org/donate.
