Third Man Charged With Murder Of Roswell Supermarket Employee
Manvel Britton, 29, of Atlanta, has been charged with murder and criminal attempt to commit armed robbery after the death of a Roswell man.
ROSWELL, GA — Roswell Police have arrested a third man they say is responsible for the death of a local supermarket employee.
On Tuesday, the Roswell Police Department Criminal Investigations Division Detectives arrested Manvel Britton, 29, of Atlanta. He is also charged with criminal attempt to commit armed robbery.
Britton is being held at the Fulton County Jail.

He was the third arrest in this case after detectives arrested James English, 29, of DeKalb County on Feb. 3. English is charged with murder and armed robbery.
Police also arrested Anthony Boyd, 29, of DeKalb County. Boyd is charged with murder and criminal attempt to commit armed robbery.

At 12:50 p.m. on Feb. 1, Roswell officers were dispatched to 10390 Alpharetta Street, the parking lot of Super Mercado Jalisco No. 6, regarding an armed robbery. Officers found a Hispanic man who had been shot and was unconscious. EMS transported the victim to a local area hospital in critical condition.
The victim, who was later identified as Eddy Leonardo, 48, of DeKalb County, was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
He was an employee of the Super Mercado Jalisco, and police believe robbery to be the motive.
