Trees, Power Lines Down In Roswell Following Hurricane Zeta

Remnants of Hurricane Zeta resulted in widespread damage and power outages throughout north Georgia —​ including in Roswell.

ROSWELL, GA — Remnants of Hurricane Zeta resulted in widespread damage and power outages throughout north Georgia — including in Roswell.

Many roadways throughout Roswell remain blocked by fallen trees Thursday morning. Emergency responders and road crews have been working diligently to address any debris making highways impassable.

"Please stay clear of all downed or falling trees," city officials warned via social media. "Crews will be working over the next few days to clear the fallen trees and debris."

According to Roswell city officials, all park trails have a number of trees and limbs down and debris scattered from the storm as well. Smith Plantation Grounds and Woodstock Dog Park currently remain close to the public.
