Water Service Restored To Roswell Residents: City
A water main break on Thursday affected service to about 300 Roswell residents, say city officials. A crew repaired the leaking pipe.

ROSWELL, GA — A break in a 6-inch main led to a cutoff in water service Thursday to about 300 residents of Roswell, according to the city. A crew from the city's Water Utility Division worked overnight and into Thursday morning to repair the leaking underground pipe and restore service to the affected area along Willeo Road, the city announced in a statement.
Water lines can be damaged by changes in the weather, resulting in leaks, breaks and water outages.
The city is asking residents living in the Willeo Road area to check their water. If it has a brown tint, they're being asked to run the water in a bathtub or an outside water spigot for several minutes to help clean the water lines.
