What's Open, Closed On Thanksgiving In Roswell
What Roswell services and offices are closed on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28? And what are mall hours for the holiday?
ROSWELL, GA — Most services will be closed on Thanksgiving, but Roswell residents should also be aware of closures on surrounding days like Black Friday.
Here's a look at some of what will be open and what will be closed in Roswell on and around Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving) and Friday, Nov. 29 (Black Friday):
- Fulton County courts, facilities and offices are closed on Thursday and Friday.
- Fulton County public safety services are available 365 days per year.
- Garbage pick up in Roswell will be changed. Tuesday customers moved to Monday, Nov. 25. Wednesday customers moved to Tuesday, Nov. 26. Thursday customers moved to Wednesday, Nov. 27. Friday customers moved to Monday, Dec. 2. Recycling and Yard Waste Thursday customers moved to Friday, Nov. 29. Friday customers moved to Saturday, Nov. 30.
- The East Roswell Branch will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday, Nov. 29. The library will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27. The Roswell Branch is currently closed for renovations.
- Fulton County Schools are off this week from Nov. 25-29, all offices are closed.
- Municipal offices for Roswell will be closed Thursday and Friday.
- This is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed. No mail will be delivered or sent. Regular business hours will resume Friday, Nov. 29.
- All banks are closed on Thanksgiving and will resume normal business hours Friday, Nov. 29.
- Publix: All stores and pharmacies will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, and will resume regular hours on Black Friday.
- Kroger: All stores are open regular hours on Thanksgiving Day, but pharmacies are closed. Both will be open on Friday.
