Albert Kleber, 69, Founder of Custom Clothing of Atlanta, Passes Away

Funeral services for the Sandy Springs resident, who made "beautiful garments for Atlanta's elite," will be on Friday.

The following obituary was submitted by Sandy Springs Chapel:

Albert R. Kleber, Jr., 69 of Sandy Springs died Dec. 16, 2014.

Kleber served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a well-respected businessman and founded Custom Clothing of Atlanta in February 1987. He was an avid sports fan and loved all things Pittsburgh.

Al Kleber was a loving father, caring brother, great boss and a person with a heart full of compassion. He always had a smile on his face no matter what the circumstances. He never met a stranger and a personality bigger than life.

He enjoyed making beautiful garments for Atlanta’s elite. He had saying which was, “He was Steeler born, Steeler bred and when I’m gone I’ll be Steeler dead.”

He is survived by his son, Albert R. Kleber III, his brother, James Wilds Kleber and his best friend/companion Gwen Saye.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

A memorial service will be Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. with the family receiving friends beginning at 10 a.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel Funeral Directors, located at 136 Mount Vernon Highway in Sandy Springs.
