Andrea Sneiderman Found Guilty on Several Counts

A jury has found Andrea Sneiderman guilty on several counts including hindering apprehension of a criminal, making false statements and concealing a romantic relationship with Hemy Neuman, her former boss. 

Sneiderman was found guilty on 9 of 13 counts and taken into custody at 1:45 p.m., Tuesday. DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Gregory A. Adams said she will be sentenced at 9 a.m, Tuesday. 

An Atlanta Journal-Constitution story cited how Sneiderman turned down a plea deal before her trial began, that would've resulted in a year or less in prison. 

Sneiderman's charges related to the investigation of the murder of her husband Rusty Sneiderman in November 2010 at a Dunwoody daycare center. 

Prosecutors had alleged that Sneiderman was dishonest with investigators, intentionally steering them away from her former supervisor at GE Energy, Neuman, concealing evidence that could have led to his capture sooner.

Neuman is serving life in prison for killing Rusty Sneiderman.
