Riverwood had an extra administrator in the building earlier in November, as Mr. Lever Stewart shadowed Dr. Robert Shaw for the day.
Stewart, a local attorney and member of the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, was participating in the nationwide “Principal for a Day” program. His duties included everything from reading the SAT Word of the Day during the morning announcements to attending a community Town Hall meeting.
He was able to experience the organized chaos of the lunch room as well as see the halls filled with students during class changes.
