Author Mary Kay Andrews Launching New Book in Sandy Springs

The launch party for Ladies' Night, the latest novel by Avondale Estates author Mary Kay Andrews (known locally as Kathy Trocheck), will be held 6 p.m. June 3 at the Kudzu Antique Market at 6450 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.

Trocheck said in an email the party was moved out of Decatur because of space and parking issues. Her previous two book launches had been held at at the Harbour Bar and Fish House and the now-closed Feast. Ladies' Night is her 20th book.

This is a ticketed event. For $35 you get an autographed hardback copy of Ladies' Night, a swag bag of goodies, appetizers, drinks and free parking.

A DJ will spin tunes and drawings will be held for prizes and "everything you'd expect at a true Ladies' Night," Trocheck said.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Bright Pink, a national non-profit focusing on risk reduction and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women.
