Car Hits Eye Surgery Center In Sandy Springs, One Injured
Police said a nurse was left with minor injuries when a car struck a building in the Sandy Springs' Medical Center area.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA — A nurse was left with minor injuries Friday morning after a driver accidentally drove into the Eye Surgery Center of Georgia building in Sandy Springs.
Police told Patch an elderly woman was navigating her car into a parking space around 7:30 a.m. Friday when she accidentally accelerated instead of breaking, launching her car into the building.
Sandy Springs police said the accident is believed to be accidental, and no charges were filed.
