Charles "Fast Eddie" Mobley, Sandy Springs Business Owner, Passes Away
Mobley, 66, owned and operated Eddie's Automotive in Sandy Springs since 1971.

Sandy Springs residents are mourning the loss of a longtime business owner.
Charles “Fast Eddie” Mobley, 66, of Kennesaw, passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, according to his obituary.
The Sandy Springs Police Department posted on its Facebook page that Mobley ”probably had his head under every police car hood at all hours of the day and night.”

Mobley serviced public safety vehicles patrolling the streets of Sandy Springs, ranging from when Fulton County police had jurisdiction during the mid 1970s to when the Sandy Springs Police Department took over operations in 2006.
“He will be truly missed by hundreds in our city whom he helped many times over,” the agency added.

Funeral services for Mobley will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at Sandy Springs Chapel. The family will receive friends from noon to the hour of the funeral.
Mobley is survived by his wife, Nancy Mobley; daughters and son-in-law, Kim and Mike Willis and Kelly Mobley; brother, Thomas Mobley; grandchildren, Taylor, Nolan, Morgan and Ben. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project at 3343 Peachtree Road #M20 in Atlanta. Burial services will be held at a later date at the Georgia National Cemetery.
