City Green Live Kicks Off Friday In Sandy Springs
Sandy Springs' City Springs celebrates its first anniversary and kicks off summer in style with City Green Live which starts Friday, May 24.

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — The City of Sandy Springs is celebrating its first anniversary of City Springs while also kicking off summer in style with City Green Live, a free concert series, starting this Friday, May 24.
The city will be hosting national recording artists from various genres for the community to enjoy. Bring your lawn chair, grab a drink at the CityBar, and jam out to live music all summer long at the City Green stage.
On May 24, the Grammy Award-winning Bluegrass band, Steep Canyon Rangers, known for collaborating with actor/banjoist Steve Martin, will be the first conert. From their humble beginnings in college bars, to an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Steep Canyon Rangers has recorded nine solo albums plus two collaborative albums with Martin.

Seating
Bring a blanket or lawn chair. A limited number of reserved tables are available for purchase on the City Springs website. Table ticket sales end at midnight the Thursday night before each show and are not eligible for refunds, cancellations or exchanges. In keeping with City Green rules, no pets allowed.
Parking
Free parking is available in the City Springs Underground Parking Deck. Overflow parking is available at the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Activities Center located at 6150 Sandy Springs Circle.
Dining
Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic. For those who would like to purchase on site, Food Trucks from Yumbi, The Loaded Burger, Chick-fil-A, and Sub Zero Ice Cream will be serving beginning at 6:30 p.m. for the Friday, May 24 concert. Food Truck vendors will change out with each concert. The on-site restaurants and those that are close by are also happy to help guests pack a picnic basket.
Alcohol
Beer, wine and cocktails will be available from bars and City Springs Restaurants. While alcohol consumption is permitted at City Springs, it must be purchased on site. Learn more about the open container policy.
