Final Movies By Moonlight On Oct. 5 In Sandy Springs

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Leadership Sandy Springs on Friday will present the final Movies By Moonlight show for 2018 in the heart of the city.

The final show, which is free and open to the public, will feature "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" on a 35-foot outdoor movie screen on the lawn of City Springs at 1 Galambos Way.

Before the movie begins, costumed film goers can join in a Star Wars character parade, enjoy Star Wars film scores played by Sandy Springs Music, and watch members of the Hammond Park Gymnasts group perform. Face painting, food trucks, concessions, raffle prizes and games round out the fun activities planned for all ages. Activities begins at 6 p.m., and the movie begins at dusk.

Residents can also bring their own picnic, lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy before and during the show. Parking is available in the parking garage (first two hours are free) and lots in and around City Springs.
