SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Calling all Spider-Man aficionados! Leadership Sandy Springs will show "Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse" on Friday, Oct. 18. This is the final movie in its free outdoor Movies by Moonlight (MBM) series on the lawn at City Springs, and is the make-up date for the movie cancelled in August, due to weather safety concerns.

“We’re excited to show 'Spider-Man' on October 18th. It should be cooler, it will be darker earlier and the theme makes it a fun, pre-Halloween treat,” said event co-chairs Lisa Thompson and Stephanie Graham. “Dunwoody Nature Center, with activities for kids to learn about spiders and other arachnids, and Jump Start Gym, are returning to be part of the pre-movie fun too.”

Food trucks, concessions, and festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7:15 p.m. As always, movie goers may bring picnics, lawn chairs, blankets and come in costume.
