Free CPR Class Offered Saturday By Sandy Springs Fire Department

The Sandy Springs Fire Department is committed to protecting and saving lives in the community and is offering a free, CPR & AED training.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — If a life-threatening emergency occurred, would you know what to do? Basic knowledge of CPR has been proven to give people the ability to save the lives of their loved ones.

The Sandy Springs Fire Department is committed to protecting and saving lives in our community and is offering a free, hands-only, CPR & AED training from 10 .a.m to noon on Saturday at City Hall, 1 Galambos Way.

All groups are welcome, including churches, homeowner associations, social clubs, businesses and organizations. Upon request, firefighters will visit group a with CPR practice kits, and share vital information that you may someday use to save a life.

A class typically lasts 45 minutes, but can be tailored to fit with a meeting schedule. Classes can be as small as 20 participants or as large as 200 participants. If you need a completion card to meet a job requirement, there is a $20 fee to obtain the card issued from the American Heart Association.

CPR certification courses may be taken through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
