GDOT To Close Ramp From North Springs MARTA Station

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Construction partners with the Georgia Department of Transportation will close the entrance ramp to Ga. 400 northbound from the North Springs MARTA Station.

MARTA said this closure will take place from 2:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29 from 2:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. Monday, April 30.

The closure will allow crews to restripe and install temporary concrete barriers on the ramp to GA-400 northbound, MARTA said.

A detour route will direct employees from the AT&T parking deck and patrons leaving the station to turn right on Peachtree Dunwoody Road, right on Abernathy Road and make another right to merge onto S.R. 400 northbound.

GDOT construction partners will also close two left lanes this week along Interstate 285 eastbound so crews can perform geotechnical investigations related to the interchange reconstruction project. The lanes from Glenridge Drive to Peachtree Dunwoody Road in Sandy Springs will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday, April 26.
