Glenridge Drive Lane Closures Set For Dec. 3-6
The closures are needed to relocate a sewer line, the Georgia Department of Transportation said.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Weather permitting, construction partners with the Georgia Department of Transportation will close one southbound and one northbound lane this week along Glenridge Drive under Interstate 285 in Sandy Springs.
The closures will take place 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3 through Thursday, Dec. 6. GDOT notes the remaining two northbound lanes will remain open. The lane closures will allow crews to relocate a sewer line, the agency said.
Motorists traveling in the area will have to follow the detour outlined below:

-Drivers exiting from I-285 eastbound to Glenridge Drive should turn right on Glenridge Drive, left on Glenridge Drive/Johnson Ferry Road, then left on Glenridge Connector/Glenridge Drive northbound.
-If you're traveling on Glenridge Drive northbound to I-285 westbound, you will continue northbound on Glenridge Drive, turn left on Hammond Drive, then turn left on Roswell Road. Motorists will continue on Roswell Road and turn right to I-285 westbound or left to I-285 eastbound.

-Motorists traveling southbound on Glenridge Drive should turn right onto I-285 westbound, exit on Roswell Road (Exit 25), turn left on Roswell Road, and left on I-285 eastbound. Motorists should continue on I-285 eastbound to Glenridge Drive (Exit 26) then turn right on Glenridge Drive southbound.

Please keep in mind that exact dates could change due to weather and other factors. Drives are encouraged to slow down, pay attention and watch out for workers in the construction one.
