Leadership Sandy Springs Recycles Event Set For Saturday

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — After being rained out, Leadership Sandy Springs Recycles and Volunteer for a Better Sandy Springs events are set for Saturday, May 15.

Leadership Sandy Springs Recycles is a community-wide drive up and drop off recycling event set for 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at City Springs South Parking Lot.

Items accepted include electronics, paint, used sneakers, youth sports equipment and home medical devices.

Leadership Sandy Springs Recycles is part of Leadership Sandy Springs signature community service event, Volunteer for a Better Sandy Springs, when Leadership Sandy Springs alumni and
Volunteer for a Better Sandy Springs volunteers will also be working on the playgrounds at High Point and Lake Forest Elementary schools, on the trails at Morgan Falls and Abernathy Greenway Parks and in the community garden at the Community Assistance Center.
