Mark Arrington, 49, Loved Running, Camping, Helping Charities
Arrington, a Sandy Springs resident, was senior vice president of the southern region for Sony Pictures Television.

Mark Woodville Arrington, 49, of Sandy Springs, beloved son of Cynthia and Al Arrington, passed away on March 28, 2017.
Loving brother of Jason Arrington and Paul Arrington, nephew to Sylvia Kutsche, Vallorie Reisig, Deborah Bowen, Margaret Alexander, and David Arrington; cousin to Bill Kutsche, Keith Kutsche, Alexander Lewis, Amanda Lewis, and Melinda Bowen; and cousin to Hope, Jackson, Caleb, Faith, Nathan, Daniel, Jacob, Asher, Sadie, Lilly, and Olivia.

Mark was senior vice president of the southern region for Sony Pictures Television. Mark enjoyed his 13 years with Sony and his many friends in the television broadcast industry. He was active in, and president of, his Homeowners Association. He was a regular contributor to military veterans' charities and Meals On Wheels.
Mark loved participating in activities with his family and friends, including camping in his early years, then cruising the Everglades and the Bahamas with his family, paragliding in Brazil, running in the San Diego Half-Marathon, the Winship Cancer Institute 5K, getting his mom and dad to run in the Peachtree Road Race for 19 years, scuba diving in Central America and taking his nephews pheasant hunting at Thanksgiving. All of his family and friends will dearly miss him.

On April 2, 2017, the family will be receiving friends beginning from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at H.M. Patterson & Son, Arlington Chapel at 173 Allen Road NE in Sandy Springs.
A memorial service will be Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church at 975 Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta.
A mausoleum inurnment of his ashes to follow at approximately 12:30 at p.m. nearby Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Highway in Sandy Springs.
