Movies By Moonlight Begin Aug. 24 In Sandy Springs

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Leadership Sandy Springs has announced the 2018 lineup of its popular Movies By Moonlight Series.

Now in its 14th year, Movies By Moonlight combines the nostalgic feeling of enjoying a movie outdoors with the fun of a carnival.

This family tradition kicks off Aug. 24 with the screening of "Coco," and will be followed by "The Greatest Showman" on Sept. 7 and "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" on Oct. 5. The event will be held at the City Springs lawn and movies will be shown on a 30-foot inflatable screen.

Movies By Moonlight, which is free to attend, will include pre-show festivities beginning at 6 p.m., with movies starting at dusk. Residents are invited to bring blankets and beach chairs and take advantage of the concession options that will be able for purchase. Of course, feel free to bring your own picnic baskets. Please note pets are not allowed at Movies by Moonlight.
