New Faces Join Heritage Sandy Springs Staff

Amanda Martin serves as event coordinator, Jennifer Webb is the marketing manager and Peggy Johnson is the chief external affairs officer.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — A collection of new faces have joined Heritage Sandy Springs in an effort to "enhance" the nonprofit organization's offerings to the community, the company said in a press release.

Heritage Sandy Springs has brought on Four Winds Agency to handle design and website direction. Amanda Martin will serve as event sales coordinator, Jennifer Webb will work as the group's marketing manager and Peggy Still Johnson will serve as chief external affairs officer.

"We are so pleased to bring this talent to our staff," said Carol Thompson, Heritage Sandy Springs executive director. "Our goal is to increase visibility of Heritage within the community, as well as let people know what a worthy cause we are celebrating. Shining a spotlight on the history of Sandy Springs and focusing on the original springs that gave our community its name as well as promoting history, culture and education has been our mission for 35 years. Everyone hired is on point with expanding our mission and making Heritage a thriving place for the community to gather."

Richard Blount II, who leads Four Winds Agency, has been a graphic and web designer and developer since the 1990s. Blount launched his career in Orlando where he worked for top companies such as Walt Disney World, Orlando Regional Medical Center, and the Tribune Company. Four Winds works closely with many nonprofit and for-profit companies around the country and in the Atlanta area.

Amanda Martin is a Sandy Springs native with a background in event sales. She has experience in both corporate and social events. Jennifer Webb, also a Sandy Springs resident, has a background in marketing, advertising and public relations. As marketing manager she will oversee project management, social media and public relations. She works with clients in both for-profit and non-profit companies. She is also on the board of Art Sandy Springs.

Peggy Still Johnson is a Sandy Springs resident and previously served as executive director of the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. As chief external affairs officer for Heritage, Johnson will oversee fundraising, marketing, partnerships, and strategic direction and messaging for Heritage Sandy Springs’s events and causes.
