Northside Hospital Celebrates First Baby Of 2019

Naya Christy Maalouf was born at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1 at the hospital in Sandy Springs.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Northside Hospital-Atlanta in Sandy Springs is celebrating the arrival of the first baby born at its facility in 2019.

Naya Christy Maalouf was born at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1. The newborn weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces, the hospital said. Naya is the first child to proud parents Pamela Mansour and Charbel Maalouf, both of Johns Creek.

Mom, who was due Dec. 28, said that all she was thinking at midnight was that “finally she’s coming.”

“We’d been waiting, and waiting and waiting, so she’s finally ready to come," Pamela Mansour said. "That’s all we were thinking.”
