Youfit Health Clubs has just opened its first club in Fulton County – its 8th in Metro Atlanta.

Over the past year, Youfit has opened clubs in Norcross, Kennesaw, Douglasville, Buford, Suwanee, and Roswell, and all are doing well. The new club, at 8725 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, is the company’s 74th, making it one of the fastest-growing fitness companies in America. And it’s now scouting additional locations in North Georgia.  

In an industry known for being tradition-bound, Youfit operates a non-traditional model.  

“You wouldn’t believe how many people actually tell me they have to get in shape before they’ll feel comfortable walking into a health club,” says Rick Berks, President/Founder of Youfit Health Clubs.  But we’re building clubs for people who don’t want to deal with the trauma and drama of the usual health club. We’re geared to the average person who just wants to stay in shape, rather than bodybuilders or ‘gym rats.’ We don’t have long-term contracts…you pay month-to-month. And we don’t have salespeople…so no one’s pressuring you to join.”

These are clubs where “you” can “fit” in, without feeling uncomfortable, and without dealing with pushy salespeople. And the fees are probably the lowest you’ll see for a first-class club.  

“We’re thrilled with the reception we’ve received in North Georgia,” Rick Berks says. “We’re getting people here off the couch. We’re bringing in new jobs. And we’re getting involved with our local communities.”
