Overnight Lane Closures On Ga. 9 For Resurfacing In Sandy Springs

The Georgia Department of Transportation is warning motorists of overnight lane closures this week due to a resurfacing project.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Georgia Department of Transportation crews will implement overnight rolling single lane closures this week at various locations on Ga. 9 northbound for striping; weather permitting.

The closures will take place through Friday, June 28 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

This work is part of a resurfacing and restriping project, designed to improve the condition of the roadway on Ga. 9/West Peachtree Street/Peachtree Road/Roswell Road from Northside Drive to Lake Placid Drive in Sandy Springs. Completion for this project is scheduled for August.
