Overnight Lane Closures This Weekend On Ga. 400 For Repaving
Weather permitting, one alternating left or right lane will be closed on Ga. 400 northbound beginning Friday night through Monday morning.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractors will install lane closures on Ga. 400 this weekend in Fulton County as activities continue related to the resurfacing project on Ga. 400 from its interchange at I-85 to just south of Johnson Ferry Road and including the Glenridge Connector. The resurfacing work will repair the deteriorating condition of the roadway.
Weather permitting, one alternating left or right lane will be closed on Ga. 400 northbound beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, until 5 a.m. on Monday. Beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday and Sunday nights, the single lane closures will become double lane closures until 9 a.m. on Saturday and 5 a.m. on Monday.
As always, motorists traveling in the area are reminded to reduce their speeds in the work zone. Motorists are also encouraged to wear seatbelts, eliminate distractions behind the wheel, and plan their routes before getting on the road by calling 511 for real-time information on work status and traffic conditions.

The Ga. 400 resurfacing project is valued at $5 million and completion is expected by February 2021.
