Peter Gleichman Joins The ALS Association Georgia Chapter's Board

Newly elected Board member brings personal passion to The ALS Association of Georgia

Atlanta, GA (June 2019) – The ALS Association Georgia Chapter is pleased to announce that Peter Gleichman has been named to its Board of Directors. His unique skillset and personal experience with ALS will contribute to a nonprofit organization dedicated to the fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Peter Gleichman, founder of the Gleichman Law Firm focusing on divorce, wills and probate, and real estate, brings his dedication and commitment to ALS from his family’s experience with ALS; his brother in law lived with ALS for 8 years. A Team Captain for the past 10 years with the Georgia Chapter’s Walk to Defeat ALS and currently serving on the Advocacy Committee of the ALS Association Georgia Chapter, he brings his passion for fundraising and advocacy, along with his board service experience with Habitat for Humanity and the Rotary Club of Canton. Peter’s skillset and passion for helping others will be invaluable as The ALS Association Georgia Chapter looks forward to future growth and development.

The ALS Association Georgia Chapter is the only nationally affiliated not-for-profit health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS. The ALS Association Georgia Chapter provides an array of support through our Care Services Programs such as: one-on-one consultations, an equipment loaner program, support groups, the Sally Panfel In-Home Care & Respite Program, the Paul B. Williams Transportation Program, and support for ALS clinics in Atlanta, Augusta and Macon. The local chapter also joins with chapters across the country to support research and participate in federal advocacy initiatives.
