Rise in Pickpockets at Local Restaurant

A woman dining at La Madeleine Restaurant on Perimeter Center West reported that her purse, which was hanging from the back of her chair, had been pickpocketed and her wallet was taken. Witnesses said three people, two males and a female, were seen sitting at a nearby table. The three walked in and out of the restaurant several times but did not order.

Police have reported several the restaurant and advise patrons to use caution ad place bags and purses on the front side of your chair, not the back.
