Riverwood to Induct Four New Members to Athletic Hall of Fame
The school's 2016 Induction Ceremony will be held prior to its homecoming football game October 21.
Riverwood International Charter School invites the entire school community and former classmates to celebrate the induction of the four newest members to the Riverwood Athletic Hall of Fame. The 2016 Induction Ceremony takes place before kick-off of the Homecoming football game on Friday, October 21. The ceremony begins at approximately 7:00 pm at Hoskyn Stadium.
The inductees include former student athletes Amaechi Morton, 2012 Olympian in Track & Field; Bret McDaniel, University of Georgia Track and Field All-American; and Harry Mehre III, the first Riverwood athlete to play professional football. The final member of the 2016 Hall of Fame class is Leonard Jones who is credited with starting the athletic programs at Riverwood.
