Robert’s love of the south brought him Atlanta in 1960, where his company Robert Liss and Associates flourished for over 50 years. For many years he was a partner with the firm Liss, Bornscheuer and Erlach. Together they represented many successful companies such as Wham-O Manufacturing Company.
As one of the original Delta Airlines “Flying Colonels,” his travel spanned the entire United States. He acted as a consultant or sales engineer to emerging companies. He also was highly successful in commercial real estate ventures.
Robert was a “self-made” businessman in every sense. He was also a true gentleman, always with a smile and a light heart. He made friends whether through business or personal endeavors.
Above all, Robert’s focus was his wife and family. He loved traveling, gardening, relaxing and swimming at home, and coaching his son David in Little League, winning the championship. Robert was a member of Ahavath Achim Synagogue and a charter member of Temple Sinai.
Thank you to close family friends, Matthew Mains and Chris G. Carlos for your love and support. We will always love and miss you, Dad. You gave us a wonderful childhood and the best of times and lived a great life that one can only imagine.
