Sandy Springs-based WorthPoint Corporation announced a new auction data partnership with industry leader Hake’s Auctions of York, Pa.

In 1967, Hake’s Auctions established itself as America’s first and most diverse collectibles auction house, selling original comic art and books, vintage sports and political memorabilia, concert and movie posters, autographs, toys, coins, and more. WorthPoint Founder and CEO Will Seippel said Hake’s Auctions brings important value to WorthPoint subscribers.

Hake’s Auctions Founder Ted Hake explained his company’s interest in the WorthPoint partnership.

“Our Hake’s Auctions team uses WorthPoint.com daily as a time saving research tool not only for pricing but also to get an assessment of an item’s scarcity or collector demand,” said Hake. “As Hake’s Auctions set records for pop culture items and historic collectibles for over 50 years, we wanted to share our results with WorthPoint with hopes their subscribers will discover Hake’s results and contact us when it’s time to sell.”

Hake’s Auction No. 230 is focused on pop culture, political memorabilia, and original comic art or books. It will go online Sept. 1 and close Sept. 23-24, with consignment submissions due in late July. Interested sellers may learn more details on the "how to consign" section of Hakes.com.
