Sandy Springs Fire To Host Child Safety Seat Event
The agency is partnering with Safe Kids of Georgia to host the North Fulton Safe Kids initiative from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. March 30.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- According to Georgia law, all kids under the age of eight are required to be properly restrained in an appropriate child passenger safety seat or booster while traveling in a vehicle.

The Sandy Springs Fire Rescue Department wants to make sure its youngest citizens are safe and secure while on the road.
To ensure car safety seats are properly installed, the agency will partner with Safe Kids of Georgia to host the North Fulton Safe Kids event on Wednesday, March 30. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station No. 2, located at 135 Johnson Ferry Road.

Inspections typically take between 30 to 60 minutes per seat, and includes training for caretakers. To schedule an appointment, please call 770-206-1518.
