Sandy Springs Hosting Meeting Wednesday For Path 400 Trail

The Path 400 Multiuse Trail will extend the existing 5.1-mile path from Loridans Drive north to the Ga. 400/I-285 Interchange.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The City of Sandy Springs will host a Public Information Open House Wednesday regarding the proposed Path 400 Multiuse Trail Extension. The purpose of this Open House is to provide the public with an opportunity to view the trail plan, ask questions and comment on the project. There will be a short presentation at 6 p.m., followed by the open house at Sandy Springs City Hall, 1 Galambos Way.

The Path 400 Multiuse Trail will extend the existing 5.1-mile path from Loridans Drive north to the Ga. 400/I-285 Interchange. The path will be built primarily within the existing Georgia Department of Transportation right-of-way along Ga. 400. The extension will also provide connectivity to the proposed multiuse paths on Peachtree Dunwoody Road and Mt Vernon Highway.

The Path 400 project is included within the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (T-SPLOST) program approved by voters in Sandy Springs and Fulton County as part of the T-SPLOST referendum passed in November 2016.
