SCORE gives free mentorship and resources to established and aspiring business owners, and will hold weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The City of Sandy Springs announced today a partnership with the North Metro Atlanta chapter of SCORE, a national non-profit and partner organization of the US Small Business Administration. SCORE focuses on providing free mentorship and resources to established and aspiring business owners. The North Metro Atlanta chapter covers Cobb, Gwinnett, North Fulton, and Forsyth counties and will now be able to locally service Sandy Springs area business owners and professionals.

“Our partnership with SCORE is a natural fit for the entrepreneurial spirit of Sandy Springs businesses,” said Andrea Worthy, Economic Development Director for the City of Sandy Springs. “We look forward to working with SCORE to mentor, train, and educate new and existing businesses to expand within the City of Sandy Springs.”

The partnership will allow SCORE mentors to hold weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions at the Sandy Springs Public Library, located at 395 Mt Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, Ga. 30328. The North Metro Atlanta SCORE chapter will also work with Sandy Springs to host business-focused workshops in the future. The two organizations are in the beginning stages of planning these workshops that will be open to businesses across Sandy Springs and the North Metro area.
