Sandy Springs Police Capture Rape Suspect
Hicks allegedly brutally assaulted the victim, causing numerous severe injuries including a broken jaw at Hunters Glen Apartments on Roberts Drive.

Terry Marquis Hicks, 40,  wanted for the brutal assault and rape of a 33-year old Sandy Springs woman, was captured and taken into custody early Friday afternoon in East Point.Â
Hicks was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force in conjunction with an investigation with Sandy Springs Police.
"This is an example of combined agencies working together and pooling their resources to achieve a very important goal, which was to get this brutal individual off the streets, said Chief Ken DeSimone, in as statement on the SSPD Facebook page. "Our detectives worked 24/7 on this case and again shows why we're so proud of the men and women of this department."
Allegedly Hicks, the rape victim, and another female left Taboo 2 Bar and Bistro on Roswell Road. The second female departed leaving the victim and Hicks alone. He allegedly then brutally assaulted the victim, causing numerous severe injuries including a broken jaw at Hunters Glen Apartments on Roberts Drive.
