Sandy Springs Police Seek Rape Suspect

Terry Marquis Hicks allegedly brutally assaulted the victim, who he left Taboo 2 nightclub with, causing numerous severe injuries including a broken jaw.

Sandy Springs Police are seeking the whereabouts of Terry Marquis Hicks, wanted for the physical assault and rape of a female acquaintance on Monday. The incident took place at the Hunters Glen Apartments, 8601 Roberts Drive.

Police say Hicks, the victim, and another female left Taboo 2 Bar and Bistro on Roswell Road. The second female departed leaving the victim and Hicks alone. He allegedly then brutally assaulted the victim, causing numerous severe injuries including a broken jaw.

He was last seen possibly driving a dark brown 1998 Honda Accord with Ga. License no. PPB-6347.

Hicks, 40, and has no known established home address. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Sandy Springs Police, Det. Sandra Rose, 770-551-3313, 770-551-6900 (main)  and or the Chatcomm 9-1-1 Center. Tips may also be left at the SSPD Tip Line via phone at 770-551-3300.
