SANDY SPRINGS, GA — If you purchased tickets to attend the Jan. 29 concert featuring pianists Simone Dinnerstein and cellist Matt Haimovitz only to learn the show had been canceled, the city of Sandy Springs has announced it will make up for this inconvenience.

The show canceled due to last week's threat of winter weather has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 23 in the Studio Theatre at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center. The PAC is located at 1 Galambos Way.

As the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth arrives in 2020, two extraordinary artists pair this giant with one of contemporary music’s most influential composers – Philip Glass. Pianist Simone Dinnerstein and cellist Matt Haimovitz will collaborate on a dynamic program that includes a Beethoven Cello Sonata alongside a Glass Partita, and solo piano and cello repertoire by both composers.
