Sandy Springs To Residents: Watch For 'Dangerous' Road Conditions
Sandy Springs City Hall will close at 1 p.m. Friday for all non-essential employees and parks and recreation activities are canceled.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Weather conditions are expected to worsen throughout the day Friday, and the city of Sandy Springs wants you to be prepared for whatever moves into the area.
The National Weather Service is expected to issue a Winter Storm Warning for Fulton County from 5 p.m. Dec. 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, the city added. You can expect to see narrow bands of snow over Interstate 85 and the Atlanta metro area, which could bring up to three inches of snow to places in the warning area.
Of course, dropping temperatures means an increased risk for icy conditions to develop on area roadways.
