Sandy Springs Rotary Honors Outstanding Members of Police and Fire

An annual tradition of the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs recognizes members of city public safety team for their outstanding contributions to the people and City of Sandy Springs. 

The honorees consists of fire medics, and fire and police officers. Recipients are chosen by their own public safety department.

Sandy Springs Rotary Club recognized the following individuals last Monday, during an awards ceremony.

Fire and Rescue:         

• Melinda Carter, 2013 Distinguished Service of the Year, Sandy Springs Fire & Rescue

• Battalion Commander Daryl Smith, Fire Officer of the Year 2013

• Firefighter Jeremiah "Jeremy" Green, 2013 Paramedic of the Year, Sandy Springs Fire & Rescue

• Firefighter Reginald McClendon, 2013 Firefighter of the Year, Sandy Springs Fire & Rescue

Police:

• Erica Adams, 2013 Civilian Employee of the Year, Sandy Springs Police Department

• Sergeant Ron Momon, 2013 Officer of the Year, Sandy Springs Police Department

• Detective Jeff Inman, 2013 Officer Supervisor of the Year, Sandy Springs Police Department
