SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Families thinking about the summer will soon have a chance to register their little ones for the perfect camp and other activities.

The Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department -- now in its 10th year of serving local residents -- prides itself on having something for everyone and offers safe, affordable and convenient programming.

You will be able to check out and register for those programs online starting Monday, March 7.

The registration site also contains quick links to the program brochure, gymnastics schedule and Recreation and Parks forms.

Whether your child is a team player and all about sports, or perhaps theater and music is their muse, parents and caretakers will find a variety of camps that will enhance their child’s summer, help them learn new skills and make new friends along the way.

Along with full-day camps and sports programs, there will be art-science camps, Claymation and anime/cartooning camps, and musical theater and Rock and Roll camps. New this year is a Nature Discovery Camp at the city’s newest park, Lost Corner Preserve.
