Weekender: Disney Star at High School, 'The Talk' Host at Punchline

- The Punchline. Actor, comedian Aisha Tyler performs at The Punchline Sept. 27-28.  Tyler is co-host of the CBS daytimes show "The Talk" and has appeared in several TV shows and films including, "Archer" and "24." Visit the website for showtimes. $20.
- Celebs Make Mall Appearances. Designer Donald J. Pliner and Disney star Debby Ryan will appear at Perimeter Mall, this weekend. Folks can see Pliner from 10 a.m.-3 .m., Friday. Ryan will appear at Von Maur at Perimeter Mall from noon to 2:30 p.m., Saturday. Shee will also make an appearance from 1-3:30 p.m., Sunday, at Von Maur in North Point Mall, in Alpharetta.
- 5K Run/Walk. The Sandy Springs Springs fundraiser benefits Woodland Elementary. The event kicks off at 8 a.m., Saturday, at North Springs Charter High School 7447 Roswell Road.Â
- Oktoberfest. Enjoy authentic German food, the launch of our 2013 Hefeweizen and Oktoberfest Lager, at 5 Seasons Brewing. Plus live German - style music throughout the day. 11 a.m., Saturday. $25 per person for all the Oktoberfest food you care to enjoy or $25 per person for all the beer you care to enjoy,or $45 per person for all the beer and Oktoberfest food you care to enjoy.
- Fall Festival. High Point Elementary welcomes the Sandy Springs community to attend the 2013 Fall Festival. The festival will include a rock wall, spider bungee jumps, bouncy house, carnival games, face-painting and arts and crafts. 11 a.m., Saturday.
