Happy Father’s Day To Ken Canty
"When my mom is traveling, we have the best time going out for ice cream, going to the mall and going to the movies."
In celebration of Father's Day on Sunday June 17, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their father and let us deliver it. This is Elisabeth Canty's letter to her dad:
My name is Elisabeth. I am 11 years old, and I have the greatest dad in the world. I would like to submit a letter letting my home town of Smyrna, GA, know just how wonderful my dad is.
His name is Ken Canty, and he is a great businessman who loves his family. My dad served this country in the Marine Corps., which makes him a hero not just to me, but to others.
He takes very good care of me and my brother by always being there for us. When my mom is traveling, we have the best time going out for ice cream, going to the mall and going to the movies. He has always been there for me when I am happy, sad or even upset about anything. He is funny, smart and very good looking. The one thing I really love about my dad is that he is always willing to try something new and exciting. I am grateful to have a father like him.
Happy Father's Day, Daddy, we love you!
