In Loving Memory of John Lee Jones, Jr. 85

John Lee Jones, Jr. 85, of Acworth, GA died Monday, July 20, 2015. His funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, July 24th in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Tony Samples officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Jones was preceded in death in 2005 by his wife, Patricia Tolbert Jones and his brother, Julius Jones.

Mr. Jones was a native of Blakely, GA and graduated from Early County High School and the University of Georgia. He retired as a plant manager at Borden Chemical Co. in Marietta. He was a member of Pickett’s Mill Baptist Church in Dallas, GA.

Mr. Jones is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law, Debra J. & John W. Cooper of Dallas, GA, Tonya J. & Jeff L. Nail of Kennesaw, GA; brother & sister-in-law, David & Ginger Jones of Blakely, GA; sister-in-law, June Jones of Blakely, GA; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Judy & Bill Bailey of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren, Lindsay Cooper, Alden Nail, Gavin Nail & Ryan Cooper.
