In Loving Memory of A. Murphy Morris, Jr., 91

Mr. A. Murphy Morris, Jr. age 91 of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, December 7, 2015 at Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna with Minister Richard Barnes officiating. Interment will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. Mr. Morris proudly served his country during WWII and the Korean Wars In the United States Navy and had been employed by Colonial Pipeline as a Dispatcher before retiring. He was Preceded in death by his wife of almost 59 years Helen Thomas Morris. Surviving are: Son-Larry (Carol) Morris of Grayson, Daughter-Linda (Gerry) Yandel of Stockbridge, Sister-Ann M. Smith of Senoia, 5 Grandchildren-Todd Lewis, Kim (Dennis) Smith, Andrew “Andy” (Sarah) Lewis, Mandy Morris, Katie Morris, 4 Great Grandchildren-Jay Pierce, Stephanie & Courtney Smith and Jack Lewis, Cousin-Jane (Lamar) Hansard, and several nieces and nephews.
