In Loving Memory of Ruby Holcombe Gunter, 96

Ms. Ruby Holcombe Gunter, 96 of Smyrna, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016. Ruby was a life-long resident of Cobb County. She was employed by Crawford and Company in Atlanta for 30 years before retiring in 1983. Ruby was a member of Community Baptist Church in Marietta for 47 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dallas Gunter. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna with Rev. Dewey Cobb officiating. Interment will follow the funeral at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 until 7:00pm on Sunday.
