Smyrna Elementary School is holding a Meet and Greet for its 2013-14 students on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Students with last names beginning with A through M will attend the 8-10 a.m. session, and students with last names beginning with N through Z are scheduled for the 10 a.m.-noon Meet and Greet.
“This is a great time for students to meet their teacher and see their classroom. This makes the first day a little less overwhelming for the student," said Principal Brett Ward. "With estimated enrollment of 700, the Meet and Greet will also make the first day go smoother because the students will already know where to go.”
