New Charges for Smyrna Rape Suspect

He is accused of molesting a girl in East Cobb.

A Smyrna man in custody in Cherokee County on multiple child molestation charges faces new problems in connection with alleged similar incidents in East Cobb.

Cobb authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of Michael Angelo Pabon on charges that include rape and child molestation.

According to the warrant, which was issued on June 3, the alleged abuse began on Nov. 13, 2005, when the girl was 7 years old. It continued until Feb. 26, 2010, when the girl was 12 years old.

In January, Pabon was arrested in Cherokee on charges that include six counts of child molestation, according to Canton-Sixes Patch.

At the time, he listed The Greens at Windy Hill as his address.
