Pair Held on Drugs, Weapons Charges
One of the suspects was already wanted in connection with a June 7 shooting in Kennesaw.

When Cobb police caught up Friday with a wanted man at the Extended Stay America on Interstate North Parkway, he allegedly had 178.8 grams of cocaine, 14.8 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale with cocaine residue covering the tray and a .38 caliber revolver.
Already wanted on two counts each of aggravated assault and firearm possession in connection with a June 7 shooting in Kennesaw, police went to Julian Lewis Walker's hotel with a warrant for his arrest.
Upon their arrival, officers saw numerous clear plastic baggies being tossed from hotel room window by either Walker or Alexis Monique Cockrell, who was also at the hotel, police said.
Walker and Cockrell were arrested on multiple charges that range from cocaine possession to drug trafficking. Walker, who is from Kennesaw, is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond. Cockrell, who is from Sandy Springs, is being held at the jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
